Publication Ethics

Integrity, transparency, fairness and responsible scholarly practice are shared responsibilities of authors, reviewers, editors and the publisher.

The International Journal of Scientific and Management Frontiers (IJSMF) is committed to maintaining integrity, transparency, fairness, and responsible scholarly practices throughout the publication process.

All authors, reviewers, editors, and other participants involved in the publication process are expected to follow appropriate standards of academic and professional conduct.

IJSMF considers research integrity and publication ethics to be shared responsibilities among authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher.

The journal does not tolerate plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, unethical authorship practices, undisclosed conflicts of interest, manipulation of the peer-review process, or other forms of research and publication misconduct.

Manuscripts may be screened for originality and ethical compliance during the editorial and review process. Where concerns arise, the journal may request clarification, additional information, corrections, withdrawal, or other appropriate action depending on the circumstances.

By submitting a manuscript to IJSMF, authors agree to comply with the journal's publication ethics and editorial policies.

Our ethics framework

Detailed policies for each area of research and publication ethics:

Research Misconduct

IJSMF takes allegations of research and publication misconduct seriously. Potential misconduct may include:

  • Fabrication of data or research results.
  • Falsification or manipulation of research data or findings.
  • Plagiarism.
  • Manipulation of images or figures in a misleading manner.
  • Duplicate or redundant publication.
  • Manipulation of authorship.
  • Undisclosed conflicts of interest.
  • Manipulation or misuse of the peer-review process.

Where a credible concern is reported, the editorial team may conduct an initial assessment and take appropriate action — from clarification to correction, rejection, or retraction.

Duplicate Publication

Authors must not submit the same manuscript simultaneously to IJSMF and another journal, and should disclose any closely related manuscripts, preprints, conference papers, or other versions of the work.

Reviewer & Editorial Ethics

  • Evaluate manuscripts objectively and maintain confidentiality.
  • Disclose conflicts of interest and decline where appropriate.
  • Provide constructive, respectful, evidence-based feedback.
  • Avoid using unpublished information for personal advantage.
