Types of Manuscripts

IJSMF considers the following types of scholarly manuscripts:

Original Research Articles

Reports of original theoretical, experimental, empirical, computational, or applied research.

Review Articles

Comprehensive and critical reviews of existing research, emerging developments, methodologies, and trends within a specific field.

Systematic Reviews

Structured reviews that systematically identify, evaluate, and synthesize relevant published research based on clearly defined methods.

Short Communications

Concise reports presenting significant findings, preliminary results, methodological developments, or emerging research insights.

Case Studies

Detailed investigations of specific organizational, technological, scientific, social, or real-world cases that provide meaningful academic or practical insights.

Conceptual & Theoretical Papers

Papers proposing new conceptual frameworks, theoretical perspectives, models, or approaches based on established literature and scholarly reasoning.

Methodological Papers

Research presenting new or improved methodologies, analytical techniques, computational approaches, or research frameworks.

Interdisciplinary Research Papers

Research integrating concepts, methods, or perspectives from multiple disciplines to address complex research problems.

Key Elements

Title

Concise, specific, and clearly reflecting the subject of the research.

Abstract

Purpose, methodology, major findings, and conclusion. Recommended length: 150–250 words.

Keywords

Provide 4–6 relevant keywords that accurately represent the manuscript.

Tables & Figures

Numbered consecutively, captioned, referred to in text, and of publication quality.

References

References should be provided consistently throughout the manuscript. Authors should ensure that all sources cited in the manuscript are included in the reference list and that all references listed are cited within the manuscript.

Ethical Declarations

Originality

The manuscript is original, has not been published previously in its current form, and is not under consideration elsewhere.

Authorship

All authors have approved the manuscript and take responsibility for their contributions.

Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial, personal, professional, or other relationships that could influence the work. If none: “The authors declare that there is no conflict of interest.”

Citations & Permissions

Appropriate sources are acknowledged and cited, and permissions are obtained for any copyrighted material reproduced.
